Vincent HoSang Family Foundation
Vincent and Jeanette HoSang grew up under the guiding principles of ’caring and sharing’ and how significant it is to extend a helping hand. Together, they co-founded the Vincent HoSang Family Foundation (VHFF), in 2004. The VHFF is a 501 (c) (3) institution built on a giving philosophy deeply rooted in changing lives. The VHFF’s mission is limitless as it strives to break down challenges and focus on opportunities that will over time bring about normalcy to the underserved. Its philanthropic investments have directly impacted individuals and organizations in our local communities and the Caribbean. Some of the VHFF’s esteemed charities include a mobile health clinic to the Organization of International Development (OID); education scholarships to both the Lehman College Foundation and the University of the West Indies (UWI), The Vincent HoSang Business Venture Program at the UWI, the Team Jamaica Bickle Nutrition and Feeding Program, The Jamaica LINAC Machines Project Initiative, The Jamaica Ebola Prevention Program, Iawanio, Rockland Community Foundation and Rockland County’s largest food pantry, People to People among others. The VHFF has awarded approximately US$3.5 million to numerous charities designed to assist the most vulnerable in our local communities and the Caribbean.
