Head Start Rockland, Inc.

Head Start of Rockland was founded in 1964 and has become the leading provider of preschool and early childhood education in Rockland County. Head Start of Rockland is licensed by New York State and accredited by NAEYC, the National Association for Education of Young Children. Head Start is also a New York State licensed provider of preschool special education evaluation and assessment services.

Head Start of Rockland offers comprehensive preschool education, nutrition, health, and family services that are designed to help low income children and their families reach their optimum potential. We prepare low income children for academic and social success in elementary school and beyond.
