Alzheimer’s Association Hudson Valley Chapter

The Alzheimer’s Association is the national voluntary health agency dedicated to eliminating Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders through the advancement of research; to providing and enhancing care and support services for all affected; and to reducing the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. The Association is the largest private funder of Alzheimer’s research in the world. It is also the only organization with a network of chapters throughout the country dedicated to assisting families coping with dementia. Local services include a caregiver Helpline, information and referral, support groups, care consultations, educational programs, a lending library, safety services, social programs, and grants for respite care.
